FAQs
How can we help?
Straight answers about the care, the cost, and what to expect when you visit the clinic.
Getting Started
What to expect before and during your first visit.
Physical therapy takes a holistic view of wellness, physical health is interconnected with mental and emotional well being. It's often used to relieve pain, and just as often to move better, get stronger, return to a sport, or prevent injuries before they start. We make physical therapy work for your goals: whatever matters to you, matters to us.
No. Colorado has direct access, so you can see a Doctor of Physical Therapy without a physician referral. Just book a consultation and we'll take it from there.
Your first visit is a full 55 minutes, one on one with Dr. Kyle Pratt. We discuss your history and goals, perform a thorough movement evaluation to find the root cause of your symptoms, begin hands on treatment, and send you off with a clear plan and first steps.
Comfortable, athletic clothing you can move in. If we're assessing a specific area like a knee or shoulder, loose or adjustable clothing that exposes that area is helpful.
Just yourself, in clothes you can move in. If you have imaging results, surgical notes, or a list of medications, bring them along, helpful, but not required. We'll handle the rest.
You can come straight to physical therapy, no imaging required. Doctors of Physical Therapy are trained to screen for conditions that need further workup, and if imaging would genuinely change your care, we'll refer you for it.
Treatment & Care
How the care works and how long it takes.
Back and neck pain, recurring running injuries, joint pain, muscle strains and tendinopathies, post surgical recovery, and the stubborn aches that keep you from training or daily life. Not sure your situation fits? Book a free consult and just ask.
Most people feel a brief twitch or dull ache when the needle reaches a trigger point, followed by relief and looser muscles. It's performed by a certified clinician and is very well tolerated.
A video based breakdown of how you move. We capture slow motion footage of your running stride and lifting form, assess cadence, foot strike, loading, and lifting mechanics, then give you targeted drills and cues to retrain how you move so you can train harder and pain free.
Preventative care is a head to toe assessment of how you move, mobility, stability, and strength, catching weak links and imbalances before they turn into injuries. Ideal before a race, a season, or a new training block.
Not at all. We work with runners and competitive athletes, and just as often with people who want to pick up their kids, hike on the weekend, or get through a workday without pain. If you have a body, you are meant to move.
It depends on your goals and diagnosis. Because every visit is a focused, doctor led session, many patients progress faster than with traditional, shorter sessions. We'll give you an honest estimate after your evaluation.
Yes. Every plan includes a home program built for your goals and your schedule, with education so you understand what each exercise is doing. The goal is your independence, not endless visits.
Cost & Insurance
How cash based physical therapy works and what you'll pay.
$199 for a full 55 minutes, one on one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Evaluations, follow ups, dry needling, movement analysis, and preventative care all bill at the same flat rate, you'll always know the price before you book.
We're out of network with all insurance companies, which lets us give you a full, unhurried 55 minutes of one on one care without insurance dictating your treatment. We can provide a detailed superbill to submit for possible out of network reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA cards.
Yes. Upon request, we'll provide a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement. Just confirm with your insurer ahead of time that they accept superbills for payment.
Yes! We happily accept both HSA and FSA cards as payment.
Life happens, call or text as soon as you know and we'll find you a new time. The more notice you can give (24 hours is ideal), the easier it is to offer your slot to someone else.
